Abstract
ശുചിത്വം ആധുനികതയിലേക്കുള്ള ചൂണ്ടുപലകയായും പിന്നീട് സാമൂഹികാരോഗ്യ സൂചികയായും മാറിയതെങ്ങനെയെന്നും വർത്തമാനകാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ അത് എവിടെ എത്തി നില്ക്കുന്നുവെന്നും പഠനം വിശകലനം ചെയ്യുന്നു .
